COVID-19 SAFETY for Indoor Dance Events (Last updated April 30th, 2022)
Our covid safety guidelines follow mandates and recommendations of public health institutions.
• Stay home if you have ANY symptoms or have had any close covid contact within the past 10 days. It's important to note that the omicron variant presents initially as a sinus cold in many cases.
• Masks are optional. We support their use provide extra N95 masks at the door,
• As for social distancing: consent is required to enter anyone's immediate breathing space (one arm's length), whether for a hug, a contact dance, or simply dancing in proximity. High flying contact, wild dancing, and/or darting across the dance floor tend to breach that consent, so you need to be particularly conscientious if your dance tends towards any of those styles.
• We have extensive ventilation, with ceiling fans, open windows, window fans, and open doors in the Main Ballroom.
• We have hand sanitizer available at the door.
